Excavation
We dig the hole for the next foundation, after a teardown or on a cleared lot. We cut utility trenches too, and the extra dirt leaves on our trucks.

Demolition debris removal follows every teardown we do. Our excavators load the concrete, brick, steel and wood into our trucks and containers. Concrete and metal go to recycling, and the rest goes to a disposal facility. When we leave, the lot is clean and ready for the next step.
We also haul the construction debris from our site work for builders and property owners. After a fire or a collapse, we clear the site down to a clean lot. As a demolition contractor in Paterson, we run the teardown and the haul-off as one job.
Tell us about the building or the site and where it is. We look at the job and put the quote in writing.
A teardown leaves heavy, mixed debris. Slabs and foundations leave concrete, and old walls can leave brick and block. A steel frame leaves scrap metal, and floors and roofs leave wood. We sort it on the site as the building comes down.
Sorting on the site is what lets the concrete and metal go to recycling. Asbestos is a separate stream. It leaves before the teardown, sealed, with the licensed asbestos abatement contractor we work with. That step is part of asbestos abatement and demolition.
New Jersey's recycling rules class concrete, asphalt, brick and block as Class B recyclable material. A recycling center needs state approval before it can take those materials in. They also have to be source separated, kept apart from other waste where they come out. Asphalt broken out of an old parking lot counts the same way.
Scrap metal falls under Class A in the same rules. Structural steel and scrap metal get sorted out and sent to recycling.
Mixed debris that cannot be recycled goes to a disposal facility under the state's solid waste rules. A load that mixes trash with recyclables counts as solid waste. The state Department of Environmental Protection runs both sets of rules.
Builders and property owners hire us for the teardown and the site work before they build. The construction debris from that work leaves in our trucks. Our trucks run from our yard in Paterson across North Jersey, and public work takes us across the state. Paterson's city code adds a safe disposal fee for debris to its construction permit fees.
After a fire or a collapse, the site needs clearing before anyone can rebuild. When a town orders an unsafe structure down, emergency demolition comes first. Then the debris goes out in our trucks.
Once the debris is gone, the lot is ready for the next step. New Jersey's construction code expects a demolished lot kept safe, with its established grades restored. Site preparation and grading can follow on the same lot.

Each utility confirms its connection is removed or sealed, and then the town can issue the demolition permit. Any asbestos that would crumble is abated before the teardown. A call to New Jersey One Call (811) gets the buried lines marked.
Our excavators bring the structure down, and the debris is sorted and hauled. The lot is left graded, or dug for the new foundation when the builder is ready.
